Jefferson County Court House. Built in 1803 the court house was damaged during the Civil War. Rebuilt in 1872 when the county seat returned from Shepherdstown. Expanded in 1910 to include judge's chambers, juror and witness rooms, and circuit clerk's office. The photograph appeared on page 14 of the Jefferson County Historical Society publication - Between the Shenandoah and Potomac: Historic Homes of Jefferson County, West Virginia.
