Plan of Charles Town, WV. Includes expanded boundaries of reorganized Charles Town (broken red line), includes Mrs. Hunter's farm in southeast corner, includes Mordington (Happy Retreat) and grave of Charles Washington. Sets boundary between Charles Town and Ranson. Includes Shenandoah Valley Railroad which was constructed in late 1870s (but not clear whether it is showing planned or completed railroad). Map is prior to 1883 because it does not show extension of Mildred Street. Reference copy in drawer with map.
