Note: The first dwelling at The Rocks was built by Ralph Wormeley IV. His son Ralph V was sent there "in exile" during the American Revolution, and son James lived there until c. 1794. The dwelling was expanded c. 1795 by Ferdinando Fairfax. Located near the mouth of Long Marsh Run above the Shenandoah River.
