Wilson House (SE corner of Mildred and Avis streets). Built in 1876 by William Wilson, This house is one of the finest examples of victorian architecture in town. Wilson was the U.S. Postmaster General in 1896, when Charles town was the location of the first rural free delivery of mail in the country.
