Announcement says "Memorial Services. Memorial Services in commemoration of the death of the late much lamented EX-PRESIDENT JEFFERSON DAVIS will be held in the Episcopal Church in Shepherdstown at 12 o'clock M., on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1889--the hour when the fallen chief will be laid to rest--under the auspices of the S.S.M.A. of Shepherdstown. All sympathizers and admirers of the Chief and the Cause for which he sacrificed so much are earnestly requested to show their respect by attending these funeral services in which we pay him our last tribute."
