Steamboat Era Museum

The Steamboat Era Museum is focused on preserving and sharing the heritage of the Steamboat Era on the Chesapeake Bay. Central to our collections is the original 1894 Potomac Pilothouse, the largest remaining artifact from a Chesapeake Bay steamboat.
