This is yet another re-purposing of the Ogilve Press instruction booklet of 1930. That E.S. Lowe saw fit to claim 'copyright 1941' on the title page under their own logo could suggest the company was not so scrupulous about respecting upon others' rights and patents -- did they show more deference to Arthur Popper when they began producing folding sets with checker trays?
The '1941' claim is very useful, however, for dating the sets that include the booklet.Publication Details
