This catalogue provides substantial detail, via descriptions and illustrations, useful for identifying Drueke backgammon sets. Distinctive hallmarks of the mid-century Drueke sets pictured here are their substantial, solid wood framing, unusual outlined points, and durable rectangular metal handles. As with the Lowe catalog from this era, it is striking that 1.5" is the largest size checker available. One owner of a Drueke board reports that the checker trays were built for 1.5" checkers while the field was sized for 1.75" checkers.
