Description

This uniquely gorgeous set belonged to Bill Davis until He sold it to Albert Steg shortly before his passing. It is a full-sized AP Games set with highly unusual blood-red and black checkers and red bakelite handle, and the original cork surface was replaced at Bill's request by Bob Zavoral -- and is Zavoral's first attempt at creating a field with dotted points. The points and dots are all cut and inlaid into the cream field -- all in long-wearing wool. The matching red doubling cube is original to the set, while the modern precision dice are new.
