This set is of a familiar 1930 type with solid wooden frame, raised exterior cushion and spring-loaded clasps. The 'bullseye' style checkers are held along with dice , cube and folding dice cups in a black implements box. There is peculiar heavy scratching on the cork playing surface, perhaps due to the surface being used as a workspace for some task. The dice cups are of an inventive yet rather impractical design, and due not snap together due to deterioration of the metal hardware. The 1930 booklet bears the 'Pattberg Novelty Works' brand name.Made/Created
