It seems likely that this instructional card was published before Bruelheide's collaboration with Paul F. Freyd, as it is self-published. Unfortunately, although copyright is asserted at the bottom of the second page, there is no record of an application having been filed with the copyright office (unlike several other bridge-related items copyrighted by Bruelheide Publishing Co. around the same time).
Perhaps as a result, this card's instructions, complete with cut and pasted graphical elements, have been repurposed by many equipment vendors including Crisloid, Cardinal, Casa Aries and McDonald's over the ensuing decades.Publication Details
