Person Description

Ralph Bond was among the more vigorous entrepreneurs of the 1930's backgammon boom. Based in Chicago, he self-published 'A Primer on Modern Backgammon' in July, a substantially revised and expanded 'Beginner's Book of Modern Backgammon' in September, and a revised version just three months later. Bond also marketed backgammon equipment under the Bond Games / Clic Clac brand in Chicago.
