Notes

Sidney worked as a cartoonist, photographer, reviewer, and reporter in the newspaper industry for fifty years. He was born May 4, 1893, in Dorchester, Massachusetts. He served as a sergeant in the United States Army during WWI. He accepted a position as a sketch artist with the Houston Post in 1920. He worked on sketching political cartoons as well as court drawings. Sidney died (1-11-1978) and is buried at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
