Desmond’s 425 West 11th Street, Los Angeles Donated by LA Live Properties, LLC Desmond's was a Los Angeles-based department store founded by Daniel Desmond in 1862 near the Los Angeles Plaza. Its haberdashery focused on men’s apparel, ready-to-wear and bespoke, with stores across Southern California. The sans-serif channel letters with noviol gold tubes came from the store’s downtown warehouse location.
