Van de Kamp’s Bakery Windmill 1960s Donated by Margaret Pellettieri Not too long ago, there were dozens (if not hundreds) of these motorized Van de Kamp’s Bakery neon windmills dotted across the Southern Californian landscape. Primarily associated with supermarkets which carried the company’s baked goods, such signs were constructed in a variety of sizes. This one is a smaller model and, yes, the windmill does spin.
