Julia (Cosgray) Gordon was a member of Waynesburg College, Class of 1860 - wife of Jerome Gordon, daughter of John D. Cosgray and Elizabeth Morgan. Anna Matilda "Tillie" (Cosgray) Scott was a member of Waynesburg College, Class of 1859 - wife of John Wesley Scott, daughter of John D. Cosgray and Elizabeth Morgan. Reproduction from 4" x 5" negative. The negative is not the original picture; it is a picture of a picture. The negative was probably created during the 1930s as a part of the effort by then Waynesburg College president, Paul Rich "Prexy" Stewart, to locate photographs and information for all alumni.
