Looking west from the hilltop where the Rhodes Cemetery is located, near present day I-79, towards the Greene County Fairgrounds in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. The grandstand (left) was completed in 1911.
Route 21 would eventually be to the far-left side of this picture following along a path that would travel right along the electric poles visible in this image.
The railroad track in this picture follows the same path of the current track that flows below Route 88, as it passes these fairgrounds today.
