Based on the identified photographs and an inscription that reads, "Album presented to Lee I. Mitchener by F. M. Mitchener," we believe the Mitchener Album originally belonged to Ida Leonis "Lee" Mitchener [1857-1924], daughter of William B. Mitchener and Mary Way. The album passed to Lee's sister Harriet Eldora "Dora" (Mitchener) Baily, whose descendants have preserved it in original order.Photograph Details
