Carte de visite of James Lee McCullough [1864-1921] - husband of Sarah Abigail Ross. He was a U.S. Railway Postal Clerk, who was murdered in his mail car at the railroad yards in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. (Source: Waynesburg Republican, 3 March 1921.) Handwritten inscription on reverse of image reads, "James L. McCullough / killed Feb 21 [sic 26], 1921 Pitts[bugh], PA.]. In another hand, a second inscription reads, "John's Dad." Original, no photographer listed.
