Funeral card of William Clovis [1823-1889] - husband of Rebecca Chalfant, son of Matthias Clovis & Nancy Bare. The funeral card states that he "Died July 3, 1889. Aged 65 yrs. 9 mos. 24 dys." Original, no printer listed. The Athaliah Frances (Clovis) Hoy Collection was passed from Marion Jasper Clovis [1849-1928] and his wife, Sarah Eliza Eakin [1852-1931], to their daughter, Athaliah Frances (Clovis) Hoy [1886-1987], then to her grandson, James Michael Hoy, who owned and shared the collection with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2008.
