Charcoal enlargement of James H. Porter [1840-1902] - husband of Mary Jane Zollars, son of John Porter & Clarissa Hupp. The Porters and Grables connect via the marriage of James Galen Grable [1894-1970] and Mabel Estella Porter [1897-1993]. Mabel was the daughter of Demas Hartford Porter [1869-1959] and Jessie Emma Barr [1873-1957]. Demas was the son of James H. Porter [1840-1902] and Mary Jane Zollars [1842-1894]. Handwritten inscription on back of photograph reads, "Great Grandpa Porter, James H. Porter." Original, no photographer listed.
