Notes

The photograph is included in an album that, based on personalized inscriptions on several photographs, most likely belonged to the family of John Munnell [1826-1889] and his second wife, Mary (McFerran) Munnell [1836-1910]. The album was probably donated by Mary Inghram (Munnell) Rinehart [1898-1986], John Munnell's granddaughter by his first marriage with Susan Jane Blakely, to the Greene County Historical Society (918 Rolling Meadows Road, P.O. Box 127; Waynesburg, Pennsylvania 15370). Researched and digitized for the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project, between 2005 and 2011.
