Women's maiden and married names are mixed in the captions. We do not know exactly when the captions were written. As the owner of this print, we presume Ella May (Watson) Throckmorton [1893-1988], or someone close to her, wrote them. She is captioned with her married name, though the family believes this picture was taken before she was married in 1914, at the age of 21. If so, she may have written the captions sometime later and identified herself and certain friends by their married names instead of their names at the time the picture was actually taken.
