Carte-de-visite photograph believed to be Henry Moninger Closser [1850-1908] - husband of (1) Cornelia Scott and (2) Sarah Ann "Sadie" Thompson. Handwritten inscription on reverse of image reads, "Make vest and plain neck tie same as JPC. / 18x22." More handwriting beneath the photographer stamp appears to read, "Hen. M." J. H. Rogers, Photographer, Waynesburg, Pa. Also see item # CLOW-AN001-0036. Album 2 Series preserved in original order.

The Harold T. Closser Collection was passed from Henry Moninger Closser [1850-1908] and his second wife, Sarah Ann "Sadie" (Thompson) Closser [1860-1957], to their son Harold T. Closser [1902-1998] and his wife, Catherine (Hoge) Closser [1905-1933], to their son William Henry Closser [1933-2010] to his son William Henry Closser who shared the collection with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2019.
