Postmarked 27 August 1916, Harveys, Pa. Frances (Cook) Livingood, of Graysville, mailed this card to her mother, Sarah Matilda (Grandon) Cook, in Ohio. Her note appears to mention her aunt Clara (Grandon) McClelland and her grandfather Isaac M. Grandon.
"Dear Mamma, I will send this card as I don't think I will have time to write for a few days. I am sending the medicine at the same time. Grandpa is up at at Aunt Clara's. He has been real poorly. Aunt Clara got word from Uncle [David ?] that he would be out the [writing obscured] the week so I will [writing obscured] to you [writing obscured]. We are having quite a [writing obscured]. Cook [1887-1926], to their daughter Sara (Livingood) Buchanan to her granddaughter Candice Lynn Buchanan who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2008.
