James Burson Patton [1884-1918] - son of Joseph Patton and Ella Rebecca Webb. James was killed in action 4 October 1918 in the Argonne Forest, France, during World War I. He was a member of Company K, 110th Infantry, 28th Division.

The Patton Series photographs were passed from Howard Louis Leckey Sr. [1892-1951] and his wife, Helen Delilah (Patton) Leckey [1893-1964], to their children, Howard Louis Leckey Jr. and Ella Louise (Leckey) (Walch) Rodefer, to Howard Louis Leckey Jr.'s daughter Candace (Leckey) McPheron who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2014.
