Sara and Lucy were first cousins once removed through thier mutual ancestors Jesse Livingood and his wife, Rachel (Jones) Livingood. Jerry Post was Lucy's uncle, he was married to Anna (Francis) Post, sister of Lucy's mother, Nellie Alice (Francis) Ewing. The Posts had a farm near Claysville, Pennsylvania, and raised Percheron Horses.
