Description

Carte-de-Visite photograph of John Supler [1789-1871] - husband of Mary Sargeant. This CDV is most likely a reproduction of an earlier ambrotype or daguerreotype photograph. Based on the fashions and age of the subject, the original picture appears to have been taken in the 1850s. CDV is a professional photograph from A. Wallace & Son, Photographers, Opposite Post Office, Waynesburg, PA. The photograph is in a Carte-de-Visite size photograph album that originally belonged to Eliza Jane (Goodwin) Supler [1846-1917] - wife of Richard W. Supler, daughter of Daniel Goodwin and Julia Ann Braden.
