Dated October 1928. Rices Landing Fire Company in Rices Landing, Jefferson Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania. Many fire companies answered Waynesburg's call for help to fight the disastrous Downey House fire on 23 December 1925. The Rices Landing Fire Company was one of those that came. The Waynesburg Volunteer Fire Company was officially incorporated in 1926 as a direct result of this devastating fire. Original, no photographer listed.
