In 2019, Marilyn Swart, whose grandmother Cora (Baltzell) Swart's family also owns an original of this photograph, contributed the following history: The house was built by Cora's father, Will Baltzell, who carried wood from Wheeling, West Virginia, by horse and buggy to build it.Collection

The Dru Ann (Beatty) Thomas Collection photographs were passed from Daniel Goodwin [1820-1905] and his wife, Julia Ann Braden [1824-1888], to their eldest daughter, Eliza Jane Goodwin [1846-1917], and her husband, Richard W. Supler [1844-1913], to their daughter, Anna Supler [born 1869], and her husband, Jefferson D. Durbin [1863-1935], to their daughter Goldie Frances (Durbin) Bigler [born 1888] to her daughter Ruth Louise (Bigler) Beatty [born 1925] to her daughter Dru Ann (Beatty) Thomas who owned and shared the photographs with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2006.
