Carte-de-Visite photograph of Jesse Hook [1800-1878] - husband of Lucy W. Burbridge, son of James Hook & Charlotte Morris. Original, professional photograph from S. G. Rogers, Carmichaels, Greene Co., Pa. There is a 2 cent tax stamp on the back side indicating that the photo dates to the Civil War, probably between 1 August 1864 and 1 March 1865 during the time when a tax stamp higher than one cent was used. Album position: page 11, photo 2.
