Notes

This photograph is included in a cabinet card sized photograph album that may have originally belonged to Lillian (Kline) (Roseberry) Moredock [1870-1954] - wife of 1) Israel Lace Roseberry and 2) Daniel Moredock, daughter of Jacob Kline and Agnes Dillinger. The Greene Connections Archives Project volunteer team acquired the Ammons-Moredock Collection via an online auction held from 107 Bayard Avenue, Rices Landing, Pennsylvania, on 5 January 2022. Based on handwritten inscriptions, overall contents, and context of family and local history, we believe that most of the collection items may have originally belonged to Minerva (Moredock) Ammons [1871-1966] - wife of John Milton Ammons, daughter of Simon Moredock and Mary Jane Reynolds. Minerva's collection was passed to her daughter, Nellie Pearl Ammons [1889-1988]. From Nellie the collection was passed to her Moredock cousins and ultimately divided into multiple lots and sold in the auction. As these lots are shared for scanning by the high bidders, they will be virtually reunited through the Greene Connections Archives Project, while remaining in the physical custody of each new owner.
