Jesse Taylor Memorial at its original location in Jollytown, Gilmore Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania.
Dedicated 25 August 1892. The inscription reads, "Jesse Taylor, Priv. Co. F, 7th Regt. W. Va. Vol. Inf'y., Aged 21 yrs. & 1 mon. / First soldier killed from Greene Co. Pa. in the War of the Rebellion at Romney, W. Va. Oct 26, 1861. / Erected to his memory by his comrades. / S. W. Gilmore, G. W. Shough, Sec., Jeff. Dye, Cor. Sec., J. L. Garrison, Treas., Abe Taylor - Bld. Com. / W. H. Meighen, Pres. of Asso'n."

The Helen Lee (Garrison) Thompson Collection was passed from Dennis Meighen [1853-1929] and his wife, Elizabeth Mary Carpenter [1855-1934], to their daughter, Mary Priscilla (Meighen) Garrison [1889-1973], and her husband, Guy Stanley Garrison [1889-1956], to their daughter, Helen Lee (Garrison) Thompson, who owned and shared the collection with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2005.
