Believed to be Oliver Jeremiah Price and Josephine (Minor) Price family, pictured [Left-Right]: Josephine (Minor) Price [1858-1913], Gertrude Lee (Price) (Fox) House [1887-1959], Walter Laidley Price [1882-1962], Oliver Jeremiah Price [1858-1929].
If identified accurately, the Price family lived on Pumpkin Run, near Rices Landing in Jefferson Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania. Sadly, Josephine was murdered in the house on 2 September 1913, while her husband was away. Her granddaughter, Bertha Fox, was also attacked, but survived. The killer was a 17-year-old farmhand named Walter Thomas.
Caption on reverse of image reads, "Grandma Price's family." At least one other image in the collection references Alice Genevieve (Price) Ross [1909-2002] who was a daughter of Walter Laidley Price and Alice Teal.
