Description

Martha Ann (Morris) Call [1855-1946], age 88 years. Martha Ann Morris was the oldest child of Captain John Morris and Sarah Church of Center Township. She was a sister of Asa W. Morris (dairyman of Yolo County, California) and Elijah Ephraim Morris (Greene County Commissioner). Martha was the wife of Harvey L. Call, grocer of Waynesburg, and a charter member of the First Christian Church of Waynesburg. She served as president of the women’s church committee to raise funds for the original building. Her brother Asa also gave a large donation to help build the church. Martha, Harvey, Asa, and wife Mary E. Morris, were present at the dedication ceremony in Waynesburg, 1901. Original, candid.
