The Cowell Series photographs were passed from Dennis Floyd Cowell [1887-1946] and his wife, Haddie Luella Keener [1886-1945], to their daughter, Mary Alene (Cowell) Roberts [1923-2009], to her son Scott Roberts who owned and shared the photos with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2010.
