Thomas Kent's tombstone in the old Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery, East Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania, the inscription reads: "In / Memory / of / Thomas Kent / Who departed this life / January 8, 1835 / Aged 81 years." The cemetery was abandoned in the early 1960s; the site is now occupied by a housing project. A memorial to those known to have been buried in this cemetery stands in Section P, Lot 99 of Green Mount Cemetery, Waynesburg. Thomas Kent and his wife, Ann (Ralston) Kent were removed from the old Methodist Cemetery on 18 September 1934 and reinterred at Greene County Memorial Park Cemetery in Morgan Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania.
