George & Sarah (Jones) Elms Family Bible, "The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testaments, Translated Out of the Original Tongues; and with the Former Translations Diligently Compared and Revised," (New York: American Bible Society, 1868). The Bible was most likely passed from George Elms [1829-1890] and his wife, Sarah Jones [1832-1910], to their son George Harvey Elms [1863-1947], to his daughter Sarah Virginia (Elms) Simpson [1895-1934] and her husband, Frederic Wheeler Simpson [1894-1952], to their daughter Eva Mae (Simpson) Grim who, with her niece Cicely Stewart-Kunsman, owned and shared the Bible pages with the Greene Connections: Greene County, Pennsylvania Archives Project in 2006.
