Description

Dated 7 September 1917. Taken as crowds bid farewell to the soldiers of Company K, 110th Infantry, 28th Division, who marched that day from the Armory to the Waynesburg & Washington Railroad Station to depart for training at Camp Hancock, Georgia. The men were ultimately bound for the battlefields of World War I in France. Donated by: Jane Ann Thompson.
