Laura Dessa Ardella (Swart) (Huffman) Hammers [1875-1957] - daughter of James Monroe Swart and Sarah Jane Allum. There are two handwritten captions on the reverse of the cabinet card. The first appears to be an order for an enlargement, it reads, "Size 14x17 / Return to Mrs. D. Huffman, Simpson's Store, Pa. The second, added in a different ink and hand, reads, "Laura Dessie Ardella Swart Huffman Hammers." Original, professional photograph from Rogers, Wilson Building, Waynesburgh, Pa.
