Born in 1940 in Nowa Wilejka, Poland, Jan Jaromir Aleksiun is a retired academic Graphic Arts professor, second rector, and dean at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, where he received a doctorate in 1973. A decorated member of Polish society, his honors include many awards for drawing, posters and graphics as well as the Knights Cross of the Order of the Polinia Restituta in 2017.Acquisition
