Description

Fine white cotton petticoat with cotton embroidery and narrow tucks on either side of the embroidery panel. Applied waistband, loosely gathered in the front and tightly gathered in the back. The side seams have a triangular gusset that begins 15" from the top of the waistband and 17" from the hem. THe primary decorative feature is a band of white embroidery in white cotton thread with willows branches worked in an unknown stitch, satin-stitch bean-like leaves, and trailing French knots. Narrow hem.
