"Ralph Jacobs (1837-1900) was co-founder with is brother Isaac of the Oregon City Manufacturing Company (Oregon City Woolen Mill), in 1864. It was the third oldest corporation in the state and was to become the largest woolen mill west of the Mississippi. Mr. Jacobs was the father of Adolph, Ruby, Frances, Hilda and Miriam. His wife was Flora Jacobs
12-9-1968 Property and water rights were sold to Publishers Paper Co. in 1954"
Miss Frances Jacobs was the sole surviving member of the family and lived in Portland.
