"Founded by Dr. Hugh Mount & Dr. Guy Mount, Dr. Frank Mount dr. McLean-who graduated from the same Hospital in New York and came to Oregon City together. A popular hospital and very popular group of doctors for many Years. Mary Swales became head of the the hospital and a very good one--While I was at your hospital, several nurses asked to see or buy the enlarged pictures I was familiar with the home which was changed to the hospital and a good one, my sister a teacher, and Ellen Werus too gave Mary Swales lessons so she could enter "good Samartan" and pass an exam as she learned to be a good nurse and now sitting on the lower steps and she is now the head nurse at Oregon City Hospital and a very excellent one, and Oregon City was still yet of a fine reputation so if you would put the picture in the library, the nurse that asked for it might be able to get it for she did so want it and I told her I'd try too
