U.S. Government Fish Hatchery at Carver (Stone). Located on south side of Clakamas River, near Clear Creek. Built in late 1870s. First Superintendent was Livingston Stone; the settlement of Stone (Carver) said to be named in his honor. Stone's (Carver's) 1st post office was in this building.
