Cross House 12th & J.Q. Adams. Stood on lot 145 facing Monroe, looking toward the river. The rear was closer to John Q. Adams, as it was situated toward the back of the lot. The higher elevation and the clearing of the trees may have provided somewhat of a river view. The house was moved to 809 Washington, where it remains standing. The barn, also on the Sanborn map is the structure in the background on the left. See the provided Sanborn image (JAH 10/2022).
