"This beautiful image depicts a group of ten Atsina warriors on horseback all in beaded war shirts, beaded blankets, or other regalia. Some carry feathered staffs and one wears a full, eagle-feathered war bonnet. The Atsina are a historically Algonquian-speaking tribe located in north central Montana. They are also known as the A’ani, A’aninin, Haaninin or Gros Ventre." - The Photography of Edward Curtis - Dlking
