- A 286/386/486 IBM compatible computer with 2 MB RAM and at-least 10 MHz clock frequency with one or two faxcards/faxmodems installed. User environment: Windows 3.1 - DataFax is a printer driver. To get high quality printouts under Windows, use scalable screen fonts, e.g. True Type (included in Windows 3.1). - Before you begin the installation make sure that a faxmodem or faxcard is connected to your PC. To install the software properly, it is also important that you check which com port you are using for your faxmodem/faxcard.

1. Put Disk 1 in one of the disk drives 2. Start Windows and select Run from the File menu 3. Type A:\INSTALL if you're using drive A 4. Pres ENTER or click OK There is usually no reason to change the default settings. Click Install to start the installation process
