MAC OS - POWERPAC OR DEMO CD-ROM Insert The Rosetta Stone CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. Open the CD-ROM (double click on the CD-ROM icon). Copy (click and drag) "The Rosetta Stone Folder" to your hard drive. Go the the section "Running The Rosetta Stone" on the next page. Note: The CD-ROM must be in the CD-ROM drive to run The Rosetta Stone. - LEVEL I OR LEVEL II CD-ROM You only need one copy of The Rosetta Stone application on your hard drive, even if you intend to use more than one language CD-ROM. Insert the Application CD into your CD-ROM drive. Follow the Installation notes in the Application CD jewel case. Note: A language CD-ROM must be in the CD-ROM drive to run The Rosetta Stone. - RUNNING THE ROSETTA STONE Some of The Rosetta Stone programs come on one CD-ROM, while others come on two. Once you have installed the program, place the appropriate language CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive to access the lessons on it. Double-click on "The Rosetta Stone Folder" which is now on your hard drive. Double-click on "The Rosetta Stone" application icon. - VOICE RECORDING Make sure that the microphone is properly connected to your computer and that the proper microphone driver is selected in the Sound control panel. You can access control panels through the Apple menu. WINDOWS 3.1 - POWERPAC OR DEMO CD-ROM Start Windows Insert The Rosetta Stone CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. In the Program Manager, select "Run..." from the File menu. Type "d: Isetup" and press Enter (your CD-ROM drive letter may differ). The Rosetta Stone Setup will guide you through installing The Rosetta Stone software on your hard drive and will create a program group for the application. Go to the section "Running The Rosetta Stone" on the next page.
