Cortland - Bazetta Historical Society

The Cortland - Bazetta Historical Society was established in 1976 during the bicentennial to help preserve the area's history and promote the understanding of the history of the community. The society purchased the Cortland Opera House in 1987 and after renovation, it is being used by the Society to exhibit and store our collections. The building is also used for community functions and as a private rental facility.
